Ben Hightower serves as General Manager for TLC Building Components. His responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of facility operations. He began his career with The Langdale Company in 1971 as bellman at the Sheraton Inn where he worked through high school and college. Upon graduation from Valdosta State College in 1980 he had advanced to position of Assistant Manager of operations. He worked at Langdale Forest Products Co. as a planer mill supervisor. From 1981-1990 he served as office manager at Lerio Corporation. He has worked at TLC Building Components (formerly Southern Reman, Inc.) since 1991.
A native of Valdosta, Ben has coached baseball, basketball and soccer for the Boy’s Club and YMCA for 18 years. He and his wife Brigitte have three children, Johnny, Heather and Briggs. They are members of Charity Baptist Church.
