Charles Beard,
President & CEO
Charles Beard serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Banking Company. He is in charge of all bank operational, lending and deposit acquisition activities. He is a member of the Board of Directors and primary community contact. Prior to coming to Commercial Banking Company, Charles served as President, CEO and Board of Directors member of The Patterson Bank, Waycross, GA. He also has over 35 years of banking experience in lending, retail administration, marketing, and investment banking with Bank One and SouthTrust Bank.
Charles proudly served in the United States Air Force and went on to graduate from Louisiana State University with a BS in Finance. He is also a graduate of the National Installment Credit School, National Commercial Lending School and School of Banking of the South.

Charles and his wife, Charlotte, have been married 40 years and have one son.
