Howard Tessin, a certified hotel administrator, serves as the General Manager of the Clarion Inn of Valdosta. Howard’s twenty seven years experience as a General Manager in the Hospitality Industry is invaluable in his management of the motel operation. He is responsible for administration, sales, maintenance, and most important, the needs of the hotel guests.
Howard earned the distinctive award of Eagle Scout and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He attended Brunswick Jr. College, DeKalb Community College and the University of Georgia.
His community involvement includes serving as President of the Lake Park Chamber of Commerce, an Advisory Board Member of the Valdosta-Lowndes Co. Chamber of Commerce and working with the Drug’s Don’t Work program. He is an active member of the Lowndes-Valdosta Lodging Association.

Howard and his wife, Lynn, of 27 years have two sons and one daughter.
