L. Gwinnette Aldridge
L. Gwinnette Aldridge serves as the General Manager for Southland Forest Products, Inc. As General Manager, he oversees the flow of raw materials to internal Langdale affiliate customers in addition to numerous outside clients in several markets.
He has over 40 years in the forestry industry, including experience as a timber cruiser, wood buyer, forester and pole procurement manager. Gwinnette graduated from Waycross Ware Tech with a degree in Forestry, received his AA from Emanuel County Junior College and received his BM degree from Brewton Parker College. He is a member of the SAF, American Tree Farm Program, Georgia Forestry Association, an Executive Committee member of the Georgia Tree Farm Program and is a Tree Farm Inspector and Inspector Trainer. He received the 2006 Region Chairman of the Year from the Georgia Tree Farm Program.

I will do all I can to make sure that both forests and industry are here for future generations. I want to do what is right for the employee, the public and the forest. We are all in it together.”
Gwinnette is also an ordained minister and serves as a Bi-vocational pastor. He and his wife, Janice, have four children and five grandchildren.
