Langboard, Inc. – OSB
Located in Quitman, Georgia, the Langboard, Inc. – Oriented Strand Board Plant (OSB) was the first OSB facility in the State of Georgia when it began production in 1988. In 2004 the plant completed an expansion that doubled production capacity. The Langboard OSB plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Langboard OSB is used in a variety of applications: home construction, furniture, packaging and shelving. Two additional product lines are LangFloor, a tongue and groove single flooring system and EnergyLock, a heat barrier sheathing made of OSB with a radiant barrier shield that blocks and reflects approximately 97 percent of the heat transfer between roof and conventional attic insulation.
