Formerly the manufacturing arm of The Langdale Company, Langdale Forest Products Co. was incorporated in 1985. What was at one time the world’s leading producer of gum naval stores (turpentine and rosin) has evolved into highly technical manufacturing operations.
Headquartered in Valdosta, Georgia on 180 acres, Langdale Forest Products Co. is a leading producer of lumber, utility poles, marine piling and fence posts. The diversified line of products is sold worldwide. Pole manufacturing and drying facilities are at a satellite location in Chauncey, Georgia, and another preservative treating plant is located in Sweetwater, Tennessee.
